Responsibilities
-We are looking for a skilled Senior Engineer to work as a discipline lead in a study for detail engineering in an offshore greenfield / brownfield project within the telecom discipline.
-You will join a major project and will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within telecommunication systems design and personal skills in a large international project-working environment.
-The study will if approved continue into an EPC project.
-Telecom lead and responsible for Telecom deliverables in study
-Participating in development of telecom design solutions for telecom sub systems, remote operations, maintenance, monitoring, and new technologies to required level in a study.
-Follow up telecom vendors.
-Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, other installations, and client.
-Participate and arrange meetings, workshops and reviews for the Telecom discipline
-Define engineering documents.

Required expertise
-Master, or Bachelor degree or relevant technical education.
-Ex course (max 5 years old)
-FSE course
-Long relevant practical experience may outweigh and compensate for a lack of formal education.
-5 years experience from Telecom engineering and telecom system design activities within greenfield oil and gas projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
-Experience from Telecom system design in Study phases or FEED or other relevant experience.
-Experience and deep knowledge of telecom design according to relevant standards such as
-NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, DNVGL and IEC.
-Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment
-A natural team player but possess the ability to work independently.
-Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
-Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others.
-Innovative approach, eager to improve methodology and solutions.
-Ability to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards.
Language: Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English - Both orally and in writing
Knowledge of Norwegian language would be advantageous.
