Responsibilities
-Perform detailed design of telecom tasks and participate in relevant studies.
-Estimate tasks, prepare job packages, and follow up on deliveries.
-Conduct discipline checks of design basis, including drawings and documentation.
-Follow up with suppliers and assume package responsibility.
-Participate in pre-testing (FAT) at supplier locations and conduct onshore/offshore inspections.
-Manage as-built documentation.
-Provide training and mentorship to new engineers.
-Participate in inspections and follow up on installation activities.

Required expertise
-Bachelors or Masters degree in Telecom, Instrumentation, or Automation Hardware, or a Technical College degree with extensive relevant experience.
-A minimum of 5 years (Senior) or 10 years (Principal) of experience in engineering design for offshore projects.
-Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations.
-Strong knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, and technical requirements for the Norwegian continental shelf.
-Familiarity with instrumentation used in the oil and gas industry.
-Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
-Valid offshore certificate, including helicopter underwater escape training (HUET).
-Valid health certificate for offshore work.
-Required safety certifications such as a basic EX course and FSE (electrical safety).
Language: Norwegian or English

Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Assignment from March 2026 to December 2027
