Responsibilities
-Engineer, design, and follow up on telecommunication systems.
-Act as the technical lead for telecom packages.
-Ensure vendor information is identified and communicated to the project team.
-Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.
-Follow up with telecom vendors and their technical documentation.
-Participate in engineering studies, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and offshore surveys.
-Prepare commissioning procedures and work packages.
-Manage interfaces with other engineering disciplines.

Required expertise
-Masters or bachelors degree in automation or an equivalent field.
-Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, particularly from large modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
-In-depth knowledge of telecom network infrastructure, data communication, central telecom systems, CCTV, and PAGA.
-Experience with telecom design according to standards like NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
-Proactive, systematic, and solution-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills.
-High loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements.
-Required certificates: Basic EX course and FSE course (high and low voltage including first aid).
-Excellent communication skills in Norwegian, both written and oral.

Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Assignment from February 2026 to December 2027
