Responsibilities

-Perform detailed design and modification of safety systems, including Passive Fire Protection (PFP), Active Fire Protection (AFP), and Fire and Gas Detection.
-Manage Area Classification, Ignition Source Control, and Escape, Evacuation and Rescue (EER) strategies.
-Conduct Safety Integrity Level (SIL) analysis and define fluid groups (PED).
-Oversee Working Environment and Environmental Care engineering tasks.
-Facilitate risk and verification activities such as HAZID, WEHRA, and design reviews.
-Perform interdisciplinary coordination, checks (IDC), and verifications.
-Provide input on cost and planning for project safety aspects.
-Liaise with clients, vendors, and third parties to ensure project alignment and follow-up.


Required expertise

-Master's or Bachelor's degree in technical safety or a related discipline. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
-A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in offshore design and modification projects within Norway.
-Thorough knowledge of Ptil requirements, as well as ISO and NORSOK standards.
-Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Demonstrated ability for self-learning and a proactive work ethic.
-Willingness and ability to undertake offshore work as required.

Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Fixed-term assignment from March 2025 to February 2028
