Responsibilities
-Further develop, implement, and follow up on comprehensive security measures specifically for offshore installations.
-Establish and maintain supporting documents for offshore security, including security analyses, security plans, and performance standards for physical security.
-Prioritize and follow up on physical security measures.
-Plan and conduct security audits and exercises.
-Provide general security-related advice and participate in campaigns and training related to security.

Required expertise
-Relevant higher education or equivalent experience in security, security risk analysis, or emergency preparedness.
-Good knowledge of industry standards (e.g., NS 5830-5834) and security frameworks from relevant authorities (e.g., NSM and Havtil).
-Strong understanding of the interplay between people, technology, and organization.
-Ability to work both strategically and operationally.
-Experience from the offshore petroleum industry.
-Must meet health and course requirements for offshore travel.
-Must be able to pass a background check and security assessment.
Language: Norwegian and English (fluent, both written and spoken)
Location: Stavanger, Norway (offshore travel is required)
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Temporary assignment from March 2026 to September 2026
