Responsibilities
-Take responsibility for process design, simulations (HYSYS/Flarenet), and the preparation of technical documentation like P&IDs and PFDs.
-Perform concept studies, detailed engineering, and technical modifications on existing installations to optimize production and safety.
-Collaborate closely with other disciplines, project management, and the client to ensure seamless integration of process solutions in complex modification projects.
-Act as a technical approver for the discipline's deliverables and contribute to the competence development of junior engineers.

Required expertise
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a similar relevant field.
-A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience from the oil and gas industry, preferably with modification projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
-Documented proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Flarenet, or UniSim.
-Familiarity with client systems like STID and ProcoSys.
-In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards such as NORSOK, API, and ISO.
-Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
-Experience with mentoring junior engineers.
-Valid EX Awareness course certification.
Language: Norwegian and English
Location: Hammerfest, Norway
Work schedule: Full-time
