Responsibilities
-Serve as the Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for various studies and execution projects.
-Develop and prepare technical requisitions for equipment packages.
-Evaluate technical and commercial bids from vendors.
-Manage package follow-up throughout the project lifecycle.
-Oversee equipment overhauls performed by manufacturers.
-Conduct inspections and participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
-Provide essential technical input to Work Packages.

Required expertise
-A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; a degree from a technical college may also be considered.
-Proven experience working as a Package Responsible Engineer (PRE).
-Detailed knowledge of key industry technical requirements and standards.
-Strong multidisciplinary understanding and a cooperative working attitude.
-Ability to work both independently and as a proactive member of a team.
-A systematic, accurate, and efficient approach to tasks.
-Creative, solution-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Language: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are required. Proficiency in Norwegian is an advantage.
Location: Haugesund
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: This is a temporary position with a planned duration from April 2026 to December 2027.
