Responsibilities

-Perform detailed design of instrumentation tasks and participate in studies.
-Estimate instrumentation tasks, prepare job packages, and follow up on deliveries.
-Conduct discipline checks of design basis including studies, drawings, and job packages.
-Follow up with suppliers and take on package responsibility.
-Participate in pre-testing/FAT at supplier locations and conduct inspections onshore/offshore.
-Perform as-built documentation.
-Take on training responsibilities for new engineers.


Required expertise

-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware, or a relevant technical degree with extensive experience.
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering design for offshore-related projects.
-Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore and onshore installations (VEM/M&M).
-Strong knowledge of instrumentation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems used in the oil industry.
-Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, and relevant technical requirements (TRs).
-Familiarity with engineering tools like STID, ProCoSys, and ARIS.
-Must hold required certifications including Basic EX (Grunnleggende EX) and FSE.
-Valid offshore certificate and health certificate for offshore work are mandatory.

Location: Bergen, Norway
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Assignment from May 2025 to December 2027
