Responsibilities
-Execute detailed design for instrumentation and metering tasks.
-Participate in technical studies and provide estimations.
-Prepare job packages, follow up on deliveries, and manage supplier responsibilities.
-Perform discipline checks on design basis, including studies, drawings, and job packages.
-Participate in pre-testing, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and inspections.
-Follow up with suppliers and assume package responsibility.
-Conduct as-built documentation and updates.
-Provide training and mentorship to new engineers.
-Perform offshore work as required.

Required expertise
-Bachelors or Masters degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware, or a Technical College degree with extensive relevant experience.
-A minimum of 8 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
-Strong background in engineering design and modifications on operational offshore and onshore installations.
-In-depth knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil and gas industry.
-Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
-Familiarity with standards such as ATEX and Norsok.
-Valid Basic EX certification.
-Valid FSE (electrical safety) certification, including first aid.
-Valid offshore certificate and health certificate.
Language: Norwegian or English
Location: Bergen, Norway
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Fixed-term assignment from May 2026 to December 2027
