Responsibilities
-Develop system design philosophy and design basis for HVAC systems, including functional, control, and operational requirements.
-Act as the Package Responsible Engineer for HVAC systems.
-Coordinate and follow up on the HVAC system design and the overall area design.
-Perform ductwork design and airflow rate calculations based on ventilation needs and heat emissions.
-Conduct cooling calculations to ensure system efficiency.
-Select appropriate HVAC equipment based on capacity and feasibility studies.
-Prepare and manage technical inquiries for HVAC equipment and bulk materials.
-Ensure effective coordination of HVAC design with other engineering disciplines.

Required expertise
-Master's or Bachelor's degree in HVAC or an equivalent engineering field.
-Experience in HVAC engineering within the Oil & Gas industry on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
-Demonstrated experience with HVAC system design in EPCIC, FEED, and early-stage study projects.
-Proficiency with PDMS/E3D design software.
-Offshore survey experience is considered an advantage.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
-A proactive, systematic, and accurate work approach with a cooperative attitude.
-Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Language: Norwegian and English

Duration: Fixed-term assignment from February 2026 to January 2028
