Responsibilities

-Design automation solutions for Oil & Gas projects, including both Greenfield and Brownfield developments.
-Act as the Automation Lead in study projects when required.
-Define, specify, and design automation and SAS systems during the study phase.
-Develop key documentation such as philosophies, topologies, I/O budgets, and system descriptions.
-Create detailed design documents, including C&E's, SCD's, and HMI sketches.
-Participate in and arrange meetings, workshops, and reviews for the automation discipline.
-Interface with other disciplines, contractors, and clients to ensure project alignment.


Required expertise

-Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
-Minimum 6 years of experience in automation engineering for Oil & Gas projects (greenfield and brownfield), preferably on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
-Minimum 4 years of experience with automation and SAS/ICSS system design, activities, and reviews.
-Experience with automation system design in FEED or study phase projects.
-Deep knowledge of relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
-Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude in a multicultural environment.
-Ability to work independently and in a team, with a systematic and accurate approach.
-Proactive, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and quality requirements.
-A valid EX-course and FSE-course are required but can be obtained during the engagement.

Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: This is a temporary assignment from approximately March 2026 to October 2028.
